You can find Research Papers from University Professors and PhDs by searching in Google Scholar. Get to Google Scholar by typing ‘Scholar’ into the Google Search Bar, and selecting “Google Scholar”.
Remember from elsewhere on this site, or see for the first time, the results from a Google Scholar search about PSA doubling:

The fourth one talks about the kinetics in untreated patients
Here is the first part of page one that came up when I clicked on the link.

The first thing I try to read is the Abstract. The Abstract summarizes the publication, mentioning key points of interest as determined by the authors.
I’m looking to see if it applies to my situation so the results are interesting to me. Here I get a part of the paper, plenty enough for me for a first pass on it, before I am asked to pay for all of it.
Other sites give you even less before handing you over to a paywall. My research friends and associates have told me that if you email the first author and make a polite request for a copy of their publication, they will send it to you. I did it one time for a survey experiment I was conducting for my own research in another field of study.
I will add more examples of how to read and interpret paper. Please email me at admin@iloweredmypsa.com for more details and current methods.
