Month 25

Best of Science to Everyone !

December 20, 2025

Merry Christmas or other Holiday over the Winter Break. I teach part time and look forward to the week off. I did get a capsule making machine, but I am undecided whether it will be Apigenin or Luteolin as a hand-made supplement.

The best to everyone.

Hi Everyone ! It has been a while, and it’s been mostly steady as it goes. I have doubled up on the Parsley for the Apigenin – 2 heaping teaspoons for my Morning Routine. That’s in addition to 2 heaping teaspoons of Rosemary Powder and 1 heaping teaspoon of ground black pepper. I had to move to a larger bowl to stop making such a mess when I stir in the Pomegranate Juice and finally the Cranberry Juice. Come to think of it, I still need to go back and take the PSO and Grape Seed Oil.

I did get one exciting comment from someone about his lowering his PSA also !

Just a quick follow up after my recent PSA test. I’ve been on a mostly plant-based diet with some occasional fish as well as your PSO, Flaxseed and Ursolic Acid strategies since late August. I’m happy to report my PSA has dropped from 5.57 (June 2025) to 4.83. I feel like I’m now in control of my situation and I can’t thank you enough for sharing your story, methodology and research.” Kenny.

That.Is.Refreshing ! It feels great to hear others find themselves responding to this type of approach to PSA management ! Thanks, Kenny for the boost for today and a few more days going forward.

Everyone have a great day.

Welcome to the changeover from Fall to Winter. I remain most hopeful with respect to Apigenin, which comes in various forms, two of which are 50 mg and 500 mg. I like the 500 mg because high I can tolerate high doses and in this case the higher dose is less expensive than the lower dose per mg. The 500 mg is a Liposomal gel cap which enhances absorbability.

Here is more Research-Based evidence that Apigenin induces cancer cell death (apoptosis), inhibits the formation of new blood supply lines (angiogenesis), and suppresses cancer spread (metastasis). The sheer details associate with identified biomechanisms puts Apigenin in the class of biochemicals that is no longer a question of if it’s effective against cancer, but rather what are the mechanisms, and how can further studies move into human trials.

I continue to scour the web in general, and Google Scholar in particular to make my Apigenin Strategy as effective as I can for myself.

Great Science to Everyone !

  1. Hi,
I’m new here. Discovered your webite about a week ago. My story: 66yrs old, BPH approx 20 years. Recent (last 2 months) PSA goes over 5 to 6.2, Dr. recommends MRI – shows two small areas of concern. Biopsy shows low grade adenocarcinoma Gleason 6. Dr. recommends watching but also sends tissue out for even deeper pathology just to make extra sure. Have taken multi vite most of my adult life, more recently (last 5 years) more focused on individual broad low dose antioxidants plus Vitamin D (4,000iu/day) plus healthy eating, i.e.,fruit and vegetable smoothies. Given the recent diagnosis, I decided to turn to AI, specifically ChatGPT as there is just a ton of stuff out there to come up with a supplement stack with doses, timing etc….Still doing research but looking to put a final plan together and order supplies and get started. My ChatGPT conversation is 18 pages and I think you’ll find it very helpful and inciteful. How do I paste it here to make it available to all? Thanks

    1. ctrl C to copy, and ctrl V to paste. That ought to do it. Let me know if you have any problems.
Congrats on following a plan to help keep things going well !

    2. you can also post your Chat GPT conversation to a sub – Reddit I am moderating about PCa Active Surveillance.
Have a go at that if you wish, and let me know if you have any problems !

      the link is above

    3. The engine to this blog does not allow me to have other bloggers post things. That’s why I now moderate a sub-Reddit that does. https://www.reddit.com/r/ProstateCancer_AS/

But if you email me the Chat GPT stream, I will post it in the main blog stream of this site to make it more accessible. email me at admin@iloweredmypsa.com.

Please let me know if you have any trouble doing that. I am very interested in what you have come up with. Thanks!!!

  2. I think what I’ll do once I get a chance is to just post a message as to what I specifically asked ChatGPT so anyone can get an idea of how to get it to construct the same for themselves, and what it put together for me. I have like five chats I did with it that are more than 10-15 pages each. If anyone has not used ChatGPT it really is extraordinary. I mean it does the research for you and constructs a plan etc…. for you. The key is to ask it the right questions. It eliminates a lot of work versus using Google.

  3. BTW, Patrick, like you I’m in NJ. South Jersey (Cherry Hill)

    1. Awesome. Looking forward to your AI-based post.

  4. I was recently diagnosed with low grade PC, gleason 6, and in consultation with the Urologist decided to do the watchful waiting. As someone who has believed for a long time that supplements can have an impact on health, I decided to use ChatGPT to research the best regimen from a supplement and dietary approach. If You’ve never used ChatGPT, you’re really missing out. It really is amazing how thorough it is. Rather than paste my several entire conversations with Chat, here is kind of an outline on what I asked of it and what I finally decided on. But before I get to that, I phrased my questions so that it would focus on in vivo data. This is important because while many compounds show promise in a petri dish, it is an entirely different thing in a live animal or human. When something is administered to a live animal or human, some of the issues are: degradation, absorption, bioavailability, tissue penetration, etc….
So here is basically what I asked ChatGPT:
    1) What molecular pathways drive abnormal prostate cells, (low grade PIN and high grade PIN) to advance to adenocarcinoma and in addition, when prostate cancer is present, what molecular pathways drive metastasis?
    2) Utilizing In-vivo data, what are the top 12 supplements that have the strongest in vivo evidence for inhibiting or interfering with those molecular pathways?
    3) Should this list of top 12 supplements be expanded to increase coverage of all of the identified pathways or are there redundancies that can allow us to reduce the number of supplements and achieve the same level of coverage? I’m looking for a possible list 6 to 8 core supplements that give at least 90% molecular pathway coverage in prostate cancer.
    4) For each of these critical supplements, can you identify specific products and formulations that are best absorbed and have the highest bioavailability? (This is important because for some compounds, if they are not in a nano, phytosome, or liposomal form, the bioavailability is virtually nil or significantly reduced, and you’re wasting your time and money).
    5) For each of these critical supplements, can you determine based on the evidence, the appropriate total daily dosage and construct a twice per day dosing schedule for each supplement based on the following 5 dosing times: Pre-breakfast (empty stomach), Breakfast (some carbs, protein, and fat), Lunch (some carbs, protein, and fat), Pre-dinner (empty stomach), Dinner (some carbs, protein, and fat).
    6) Can you tell me if there are any safety precautions, drug interactions, or affect on liver enzymes that I need to be aware of with these supplements?
    7) Can you tell me if any of the supplements can alter biological processes such that occasional lab monitoring or blood work would be appropriate?
    8) Are there foods or supplements I should avoid that would be counterproductive to this overall approach?
    9) What foods in the form of Juices, solid foods, and oils, would be helpful to consume with this supplement regimen?
    10) Can you construct for me a sample 7 day breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu plan that would be beneficial to consume with this supplement plan?
    11) Is there any thing else I can add or do to increase coverage to approach the 100% mark?
These are some of the most critical questions I asked and it responded beautifully. When I get a chance perhaps later today, I will post some of the responses and the supplements, dosage regimen, and other info it gave me.

    1. Sounds like a great list of questions. I look forward to whatever results you generate. Looking forward to comparing that to what I get through my Google Scholar research papers review.

Best of Science to you, and wishing you an awesome outcome !

      Patrick
